Introducing your 2025 15U AAA Head Coach
The Edmonton Expos are excited to announce the appointment of CJ Jayasekera as the head coach for the 2025 15U AAA Team. With a rich background in coaching and a deep commitment to player development, CJ is poised to guide the team toward success.
Expos Coaching Accomplishments:
- Led the Edmonton Expos 13U AAA team to a provincial championship in 2021, showcasing his ability to develop young talent and foster a winning culture.
Coaching Experience: CJ has contributed to numerous baseball organizations throughout his coaching career, including:
- Baseball New Zealand
- Baseball Alberta and Team Alberta
- Baseball Canada
- Okotoks Baseball Academy: Focused on skill development and performance training.
- St. Albert Minor Baseball Association: Worked with youth players to develop fundamentals and teamwork.
- Edmonton Prospects Baseball Club: Engaged in player development at the senior level.
- South Jasper Place Minor Baseball Association: Coached at the grassroots level to promote the sport.
- Vimy Ridge Academy School: Provided coaching and mentorship to student-athletes.
