SEEBA Player Transfer Guidelines 2025
*All player transfers must fall under the guidelines as per Baseball Alberta player transfers: Baseball Alberta Player Transfers
*Beyond Baseball Alberta guidelines, if any SEEBA player wishes to transfer to another association, the following steps are required:
1.Written notice to SEEBA President informing of a desire to transfer and the reasons for wanting a player transfer.
2.The SEEBA Player Transfer Committee will meet to discuss the transfer request.
A.The player requesting a transfer has a sibling currently playing with the incoming association.
For example, if the player is in 13U and their older sibling plays 18U BAEL for the same inbound association and family wants both players together for logistical purposes.
B.The player requesting a transfer has a problematic history with an upcoming coach that has been documented and mediated upon by SEEBA during a past season(s).
3.The player requesting a transfer accepts a roster spot with the inbound association.
5. If the SEEBA Player Transfer Committee denies the transfer request, the requesting family can then appeal the decision through Baseball Alberta. This appeal process outlined in the Baseball Alberta Handbook.
